The demolition begins

Sad day.
I'm a big fan of West Ham, and since 1904 "The Boleyn Ground" has been our home.
Next season though we are moving on to bigger and better things and moving 3 miles down the road and taking occupancy of 'The Olympic Stadium'.
A magnificent stadium that was built for the London Olympic games 2012.
Whilst its exciting to move, its also sad to see our old ground starting to be taken down.
Today was coincidental.
I was in the area and thought I would pop in to the club shop, when I saw a cherry picker beginning the very first phase of removing all exterior 'West Ham' branding before the whole structure is taken down.
