Wood and Steel
A pair of secateurs I found out in the road while cycling home the other day. Figuring that they might puncture someone's tyres/get flung out of the road and hit a passer by and realising that they looked like they had aged rather prettily I picked them up and took them home... and here they are, on the rather similarly aged dining table.
I'm always seeing faces in anything that might have them and here I can't help but see a happy toucan in this one. Big smile, some signs of wear on the lower beak, but otherwise doing well. Oh, and if you've lost a well worn (and possibly well loved) pair of secateurs around Cambridge, let me know and I'll pass them on.
