Cabbage Palm

Memories of a good Man & an amazing Uncle who passed away yesterday.
He visited me a quite a few years ago, he had lived in New Zealand from the age of 22, born in 1932, he lived a long & happy life, marrying my Auntie & having 2 children together.
When he went into our Garden he loved it & told me that this plant was a great specimen of the Cabbage Palm.
My Uncle took part in making Hamilton Gardens what it is today, also he & his wife owned a Garden Nursery in New Zealand.
