Took a detour today to bring you Big Ben Wenlock

However hard I tried to capture a runner in the shot they were all politely avoiding me.

I knew that the walk in might be challenging this morning as the Torch relay was in the vicinity of work. I vaguely planned my route to avoid it but walked straight into the crowds instead.

As it was due, I waited with the crowd. I participated fully ie I danced, cheered, waved my streamers and accepted my free bottle of coke.

The thing that made me smile: Got a real buzz from seeing the effect that the torch relay had on the crowd
