Swan bomb

Amused to find a swan photo bombing my flamingo picture!

Had a wonderful trip around the petit Camargue outside Aigue Morte (there is another town called Aigue Vive) with Ann-Sophie, who is a biologist, whose speciality is the flamingo. We were very lucky to have her to ourselves, and enjoyed her knowledgeable commentary about the environment. Flamingos are long living birds and live at least to forty years old, but maybe longer but they've only been being ringed for that amount of time. They have a different mate each year...
