Tick, done

Last weekend I took Meg walking in Wales [1]. Last night I noticed a rather bizarre little nodule behind what would be an armpit on a human. It turned out to be a tick. I must have led a sheltered life, because this is my first. Anyway, the vet gave sold me a little device to remove it, and it was so seriously ugly and scary that I thought I should record it (right before I squished it, I'm afraid). Here it is... tick, done.

[1] The vet told me that ticks are common in areas where there are lots of sheep, deer and similar. I wasn't suggesting that Wales per se is full of ticks :-)
