Down in the grasses.....

I had a lovely little trip to Box Hill in Surrey this afternoon, laying in the tall grasses photographing the wild orchids and this......beautiful Sanfoin Onobrychis viclifolia. I love Sanfoin, it is such a rich and beautiful colour. and interesting shape, a bit like a weedy Lupin!  I have included a shot of an equally beautiful Chalk fragrant Orchid, which has the added bonus of smelling divine....
