Home to Rukuhia today and the lawn is carpeted with leaves of avery autumn hue so it'll be out with the mower once the sun comes out to do a spot of "vacuuming".
These vibrant leaves are amongst the few left to fall from circus canadensis either side of our front door.
Now for the food wizards among you...a neighbour gave us a couple of chokos . I have dreadful memories of the childhood version that was occasionally served as tasteless boiled pieces saved only by the cheese sauce that covered them. Any par-cooked spicy or super tasty alternatives out there, I wonder?
