More Weather

When I looked up from my work with the chainsaw and caught sight of these clouds I hurried to gather in my washing, even before taking a photo. But they were just passing by, pushed by an ever strengthening nor’wester. The temperature stayed high overnight, so that when I got up before 6.30am I opened the veranda door while it was still quite dark. It went up to 19+ºC.

I spent all morning sawing logs and stacking them on the veranda or in sheds. Very satisfying. After lunch the wind turned cold and I was glad to stay indoors.
