Look what's happening here this morning !. Mother Blackie kicked up a huge noise running at cat flap. Then I spotted this youngster and blocked the cat flap. Chavo was appropriately chastened and settled down quietly.

David Nott foundation. David Nott the very brave vascular surgeon, who travels the world working in conflict zones, did a brilliant desert island discs this morning. I'm no royalist : but tis the Queens 90th today. David told a wonderful story of coming back from a stint in Allepo. He had severe PTSD 10 days after arriving back he got an invitation to lunch with the Queen. He was very distressed and speechless. Her Majesty said, very kindly to him : ' please let me do something for you' she then sent for her Corgies and the biscuit tin. They both then fed and stroked then dogs !!. Genius eh!. Pets are brilliant for PTSD.
