Another gazing ball

Here is our other gazing ball. This one is made of glass, the one in yesterday's blip is stainless steel, less common. Based on a tiny bit of research, I found that gazing balls (or garden globes) originated in Venice, Italy in the 13th century. There is a wide variety of patterns of globes, and also of stands.

Today was a sunny and pleasant day, but a bit windy.
