Day 161 Sunset on the Thames

Today I went to Staines to be Granny for the afternoon. I stopped on my weary way home to take a photo of this beautiful scene. It took a while to realise that there was a couple in the bottom left of the photo, who were also enjoying the sunset. So peaceful.  

Alas, this unintended stop made me late and motorway was closed, so it took me twice as long to get home as usual.

I was hoping to take a picture of Lily today, but she wasn't in the mood - see the extra photo. Oh well.

.. and I left my laptop there, so had to go back to fetch it this morning, hence the delay in posting this photo
