Natures a funny thing!

So, a strange day today, blip wise anyway.

Worked from home today, in the morning then went to the gym (trying desperately to get fitter for the dordogne) then decided to walk through pangshanger park and see what I could find.

Spent a lovely hour by the Osprey lake failing quite spectacularly to get any good pics. Enjoyed playing with the lenses but every time I was changing a lens, that was the time the bird of prey decided to fly anywhere near me!!

So, started to walk home and then looked. down and there was this lovely blue damsel fly. Put the macro lens on and moved ever so slowly down to take a pic - as I snapped I worked out why it wasn't flying away - poor thing had flown into a cobweb!!

The extra (only an extra as not quite in focus) was how I noticed - the spider came to say hello!! Unfortunate it hid and wouldn't come out for a better picture!
