Queen's 90th birthday party

Today's the day ............................ to take tea

We were invited to a tea party next door today - to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.

Unfortunately, although she had been invited too, she was unable to attend because of another engagement.  We carried on without her, drinking to her health with a nice cup of tea - and eating cucumber sandwiches, scones with strawberries and other cakely delights.

And a jolly good time was had by all ............................
