An evening at the seaside!

After a normal work day, staying in at lunchtime and leaving at 4.30, I got home at 5.30 to find the rest of my family had already had their dinner. With it being scout night everything has to be done early, and luckily with Daniel at home, there was someone to prepare the meal.

Unfortunately Jon had a bad headache (due to the sun, he thinks) and didn't feel up to another long drive, and an evening canoeing. That's sea scouts for you.

So after a lie down, I decided a wander down to the sea would be a good idea. We all piled into the car, our first family of 5 outing in a long time, and drove the 10 minutes in to Sheringham. The high street is all decked out in union jack bunting, ready for queens birthday celebrations tomorrow. We headed to Ronaldo's and all had an ice cream. They are the best. We tried a few selfies, but in the end this one was the best. A few pennies spent in the arcades, then home for a film, beer and crisps. Jurassic World won the film vote. Looking forward to the weekend.
