Running the Railway

My father and Step-mother have come to Norfolk for a weeks holiday and are staying in Sheringham.  They caught a steam train (North Norfolk Railway - Poppy Line), to Holt and we met them there.  We spent the day together and they had a chance to see our new house. After a rather nice lunch we gave them a tour around some of our favourite places, before dropping them back in Sheringham.  Once the garage conversion to an en-suite bedroom is done, we'll be in good shape to have family and friends to stay.
These volunteers take their roles on the railway seriously, but are so friendly and polite, and never mind having their picture taken.
