The Diver /El Clavadista

This sculpture of a diver is the first thing I see when I arrive at the Parkside swimming pool. It is made from metal by the Iraqi artist Esther Joseph, who is based in Cambridge.

London 2012 starts today, I am very excited. I can't wait to see all the swimming and gymnastic competitions and of course Tom Daley diving.

Esta escultura de un clavadista es la primera cosa que veo al llegar a la psicina de Parkside. Esta hecha de metal por la artista Iraqui Esther Joseph ubicada en Cambride.
Hoy comienzan los olimpicos London 2012 y estoy muy feliz. Tengo muchas ganas de ver las competencias de natacion y gimnasia y por supuesto a Tom Daley haciendo clavados.
