preparing for the expo

I volunteered to help set up for the local photo club expo here. I thought it would be hanging ready mounted prints, as at home , but the prints were batch printed and we mounted and framed them during the evening using identical frames and black or white mounts. Black was a popular choice whereas at home we seem to mainly use white or cream mounts. They are all concentrating hard here as the mount interiors were almost the same size as the photos and with no overlap it was hard to fix the photos so they didn't spring out of the mounts. Ended up taking until midnight but we were kept going by the basket of cherries brought in to nibble (or wear as earrings depending on preference!). Learnt the french for the tape being used is 'scotch'! 
Had been up since about 6 , with early decorators , a trip to the airport to pick up  visitors, lunch out then a tour of the 'Byrrh' factory, so a long but productive day! will blip the exhibition another day.
