Life, not as we see it.

Even more of Barcelona.

Started the day with tortilla in Barceloneta, followed by a couple of hours on the beach, then we ventured into the metro system. Had only gone one stop of a two stop journey when a naughty lady tried to steal from my camera bag.  A fellow traveler noticed that the woman seemed to have three hands, and was unzipping my bag with one of them.  It turned out there were three of these light fingered girls, and it transpired that the police were waiting for them as they exited the station.  Once again I was shocked that I had not noticed this activity, illustrating my vulnerability to the professional baddie.
So, onward to Montjuic and the Miro Foundation where we had lunch and bought some earrings.  (No, not for me.)
Long walk back down through a pleasant park, and got lost somewhere in the residential burbs, eventually finding our way to the Museum European d'Arte Modern where we were due to attend what we thought was a blues concert.  It was boogie woogie and swing, not to my/our taste.  The only thing that should swing is the drummer.  "Not great" is overstating his capability, imho.
Next off for scran.  Found a posh veggie place, and made a wrong choice for me however swmbo enjoyed it immensely, and that's what matters.
Wandered down the Ramblas and finished the evening with a free concert by a salsa quartet geein it laldy.  Great!
All in all a busy wee day
