Handle with care

Miss A's pre-school friend Eva greeted her with a big hug and kiss this morning. Miss A was quietly delighted at this, turning round to me with raised eyebrows and a big grin. Both her and Little D are having a great time at nursery at the moment and it's lovely to drop them off knowing how happy they are.

Grandma and Grandad came to collect the kids this evening and take them back to their house. Little D was in a tearful mood, not because he was leaving us, it was just....well, just because! Miss A decided she didn't want to go and for a moment it looked like all hope was lost but once she had a look inside her Trunki and saw all her animals were packed and ready to go she seemed to forget her wobble and made her way happily to the car.

What do parents who find themselves home alone do? Clean, wax floors, take emergency blip photos and get an early night it seems. Yes, I know, so very rock n' roll...
