Walking partners

A little over 7 weeks ago, my mother finally had surgery on her knee. She needed a new prosthetic knee after arthrosis destroyed her "real" knee. For a while now, it had became harder to walk, do normal stuff, even sleep. 7 weeks later, here she is, walking Olivier home from daycare! She still has a ways to go, and she still uses a cane outside (I have to ask her why the cane was so high!), but even with the pain of the surgery, she has less pain than before!

So, you know: she's just awesome!
