Grilling

We were invited to MF's for a meal. Here MK is expertly grilling the marinaded meat.
Later shots didn't exhibit the sharp focus I would have preferred...
An enjoyable evening.
I have found that some other shots which are fine in CR2 format don't look right as jpegs. For the same reason I converted the wooden house a few days ago to sepia. Any suggestions?
