the Last Day

I am not a great fan of the TT Races per se but I certainly have an interest in the surrounding events and visitors.

So this is the last race of the 2016 Isle of Man race season.  It is called the Senior.  After it is over most of the TT fans start to leave and the locals breath a sigh and start to pick up their lives. The roar of distant motor bikes is quelled.

I only stayed a couple of minutes at the side of the course to take photographs and then I got on my push bike and gently wobbled away.

I must say I find it an intimidating experience to watch these bikes with their overpowering speed and noise.  Somewhat gladiatorial.

Oh, if you scrunch up your eyes you can actually see Dunlop approaching....
