Hidden garden

For the past few weeks I've been teaching a Chi Kung class on Thursday mornings at the offices of the Blide Trust. The class is open to staff and members and everyone seems to be enjoying it as a relaxing way to start the day.

This morning was so beautiful they suggested that we hold the class in the garden. What a surprise, I had no idea it was there. A beautiful, sheltered garden with palm trees, gunnera, tall tall trees (unusual for Orkney but they grow this big in Kirkwall) fragrant flowers, and a pond with a waterfall (not working at the present as they are replanting the pond) and a wee Buddha statue. Perfect for the class... I've told them that we will be out there from now on, no matter what the weather is like. Not sure they believe me, but we'll see how it goes.
