Legless lizard

Sensitive souls, fear not this is not a snake. It's a slow worm (orvet), whose Latin name tells the story: fragilis. Yes, sensitive souls, this specimen minus its tail (tastefully left out of shot) was found dropped by a careless bird on my deckchair this morning. Total estimated length with tail would be 18 cm or aprox 7 inches.
