" ON THE HEADLAND "

The weather had been promising rain all day but in the end it didn't amount to anything.  The garden is drying out, the lawn going yellow and I will have to get busy with the watering can.

Although I don't like Valarium in the garden, this crop caught the eye and looks very pretty.  The other photo is a lovely wild Iris which my friend Belinda pointed out.

Very sticky this morning and along with rehearsing for tomorrow I still have to attach ribbons to balloons.  I just hope those who come enjoy the event.
