Curiouser and curiouser

There are bees nesting in the wall of the house. I am hopeful they won't make it as far as the attic.

Yesterday MrH came home and inspected the bedroom side of the wall to find a tiny hole. The bees have eaten their way through the other side of the wallpaper so you can actually see through the paper, through the ventilation brick and into the garden outside! The situation is being monitored and a transparent plastic wallet has been sellotaped up onto the wall in the hope this prevents them munching further and gaining access to the bedroom. The idea of bees swarming around the bed in the early hours is not attractive.

I keep a collection of mannequin hands on top of a cupboard close to the bee hole so thought I'd use one to showcase the topic of conversation!
