Poppy

Today has been our second day of grey , mild damp weather. It is a real shame because today is our Summer Gala Day in the village and after such gorgeous weather recently they will have been hoping for more of the same today. We used to go every year - lots of stalls and activities on the village football field but since the children have become young adults don't really bother now. The blip is of some beautiful, wind blown and rather ' blowsy' poppies I saw in a garden this morning.
