1238 - 10 June 2016 - Longstay

My nephew's band hosted an evening of music to raise money for CHAS.  They raised a total of £1300, so well done boys!  And Dale won some cupcakes in the raffle!  Yum!

A good evening was spoiled when we arrived home - just as we arrived, my neighbour also arrived home in a taxi...  She was alone but the boyfriend was already in the house.  Within half an hour they were arguing, throwing things and slamming doors.  I waited patiently for them to start shouting outside before I called the police - the police seem to respond much quicker if you report that the noise is outside.  I didn't have to wait long - he was at one end of the street and she's screaming for him to come back.

The police arrived 10 minutes later and there was lots of shouting from her.  I don't know what happened but she started crying and he shouted "That's illegal!" I guess the police restrained her for some reason then I watched tim march her out to the car in cuffs!

The police came to my door and asked me what I had heard before they arrived.  Then he told me she got aggressive and was "spending the night with them" so I should be able to get some sleep.

Then they marched the boyfriend out - also in cuffs!

I only wanted them shut up...  But maybe this will teach them a lesson!
