Candy Floss At The Carnival

Today I went to one of the annual carnivals in Cambridge. There was a parade on foot  but 'elf 'n' safety won't allow the lovely floats  any more and the children did love decorating them and riding through the streets. This carnival has been running for many, many years and nobody has ever fallen off a float, so now the Carnival Queen and princesses have to walk the route. My daughter has a little kiosk, and sells candy floss and slush puppy iced drinks at various fetes in the summer. If they are nearby, I pop over to visit and browse the various stalls. Today I bought some books and a few things to put in my toy box which I keep for when the smaller grandchildren visit.
