"Banned from my own garden"

Due to the baby thrushes leaving the nest this morning (see oldenglishe journal) we shut the little gate that leads down the garden just to keep them safe until their mother teaches them to fly properly. Bracken has decided to chill out on the garden wall but he either is very obedient or hasn't worked out just how easy it would be to jump down off the wall into the bottom of the garden but considering how agile he is I think he is just being obedient! It is now 2 o'clock and I can see no sign of the babies so hopefully they have flown away safely to experience the wide world!
