Chaffinch

L and I had a excellent long walk this morning with our friends and their very energetic labrador, Mac at Mugdock. Mac enjoyed having three kids to bounce around with and chase balls for and that left us Mums free to chat.

Afterwards we fuelled up again at the Stables cafe with bacon rolls and hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows (what else?). There was a team of these little guys hanging around waiting for crumbs but it was difficult to catch a photograph as they were extremely quick.
