It was a damp walk in the morning - but every cloud leaf has a silver lining 

This afternoon SWMBO, Bags and I took Squirrel into town and dropped her off at the venue for her gymnastics show and then went for a bite to eat and a very nice beer before returning to watch the show.

The Usher hall had completely sold out for a 3 hour show of dance and gymnastics by kids from 3 to late teens. They all go to the one club in Livingston and go from beginners to international competition standard.

I have to say that it was a truly amazing evening (despite my initial trepidation).
