Rain starts play.

Well the Queen's birthday tea was a big success and Clare's insanely hard work paid off. (Not forgetting loads of help on the day.) People from right accross the local community came out to have a good time, which they did, even when the heavens opened up and flooded the place. (Thanks Tower Hamlets council for not unblocking the gulleys as you said you would.)

I didn't win the knobbly knees contest, but Alice and her best pal won the peoples choice in the Big Bake Off competition. (See extra hopefully.)

Right, it's next morning and I have to leave in two hours to work at Glastonbury for three weeks. I haven't packed anything yet, hope all my clothes aren't waiting to be washed.
