Rally de Monchique

We went down to the village to see the rally cars going by. This is the Rally de Monchique, the biggest rally held in the Algarve. Wealth absolutely gorgeous
We also saw this Lordy carrying Cork oak. This is stripped off the oak trees when thick enough and is harvested every year from different oak trees. The main trunk of the trees looks very naked and red when peeled off!
