The anticipation is agony . . .

Extra is backwash, with a watery bird & oops !

Forecast was for a 6-8 foot, with 'solid energy' for south facing shores like Sandy Beach.  It was wonderful to see the waves breaking solid across the beach and lots of backwash, with waves often doubling up in quick succession.

Just thought of an haiku:

An-ti-ci-pa-tion
is teasing my brain to fast
