First of all, thank you so much for all the hearts and stars for my family of swans yesterday. Your encouragement and support is very much valued.

As well as this, I so enjoyed watching the swans and the ducks, and taking photos. Then sifting through the memories to choose which to share. If you do have the opportunity to go out somewhere and watch the fledged families, I know you will enjoy it.

Unless, of course, it is the predicted soaking weather that you have to contend with.

It was quiet at the gym and in the pool this morning. This may have been because it's a big day for Lichfield with the grand visit of Sir Tom Jones in our main park.  It may have been because the Staffordshire Iron Man Competition has meant that many of the roads have been closed from very early in the morning, until well into the afternoon.

It may just have been because people didn't fancy the rain. My poppies weren't thrilled either.
