Yesterday morning we hung around Leith, trying to have a good look around but not expend too much energy. We sauntered over to a local Farmer's Market and bought some goodies and then went to have a look at the Royal Yacht Britannia. Mum and dad stayed for the tour, SS and I went and did some more mooching with the promise of pictures later.

We headed into Edinburgh early evening, ate, drank and got into the spirit of things. I think we probably peaked a little early and ended up surrounded by pink in Holyrood Park a little early. Mum and I started our walk at 11.30 and ended it just over 4 hours later. It was ace to be a part of an event for a cause so close to our hearts and amazing that mum did so well considering her injury, but I never ever want to do an event at bedtime again.

We all managed a few hours sleep before breakfast and Birthday celebrations for dad and then hit the road. Long journey (thanks Papa!) but a splendid weekend.

And thus ends three of the most epic weekends ever. Next weekend I am not leaving the house.
