Trooping The Colour In Southport

Very mixed weather today .Even so off to Southport where , as ever the sea was way way out . HM Queen Victoria was standing waiting.Proud as can be since  Queen Elizabeth II had celebrated her 90th birthday .A special trooping took place on the horses and I filmed the 'crowd' .Somewhat fewer in number than in London .Then it was off to The Inn at Whitewell  . A perfect place with picturesque views of what goes to make this such a green and pleasant land .Long may it stay so and long may Her Majesty continue to reign over us .
