Save Glenfield Childrens Heart Hospital

This was the message that was being given out by the robot
The hospital lost it`s battle to remain the Midlands only childrens heart hospital, it has saved thousands of lives over the years it was open but when it came to the vote to remain open, it lost out and now parents have to travel 100s` of miles to another hospital if their children need heart surgery.
Supporters where there getting a petition signed to keep it open. I put my name to it despite not having children but I firmly believe that the families of sick children in Leicester and the Midlands deserve better.
This guy was certainly drawing the crowds, but I bet he was sweltering in that outfit. Despite forecasting showers today it was blue skies and sunshine all the way in the mid 20s`......
