Loved this portrait of artist Mike Marriott's Springer spaniel I saw in his studio in Marcelle House, Alloa.

Mike's day job is a Visualiation Specialist at the Digital Design Studio at Glasgow School of Art. After spending his working time in front of a computer he enjoys getting back into his studio to do some oil painting.


He is not alone, more and more people are re-discovering the pleasure of working creatively with their hands.
