The Journey Home
It's been a very long time since I last uploaded a blip, but I have just got home for the summer and thought it would be really nice if I could document the whole summer in blips! This last term at uni has been tough but I have learnt a lot. My exams went okay, I'm just so relieved they are over and I can spend time on all the other things I want to do!
Today I woke up at 7am and got ready, then left for Euston. The underground and the station were both very quiet which was nice! It felt good carrying all my art stuff with me instead of all my books! I got to Euston super early so had a coffee and watched over the balcony onto the concourse for a while. Today's photo is from the train window, I liked how its out of focus and how the blur makes it look soft, it fits nicely with the muted colours ~ a very calming feeling suitable for going home after exams! I like how the light reflected on the train window on the left of the photo, I think it makes the photo look like a page in a book! The bits of dirt on the window also remind me of the grain on old film. I specifically booked an early train and window seat so I could stare out the window the whole time. I sat and watched the rain and the transition from the city into green fields and trees and sky. At the station I bumped into my friend Jordan who actually lives near me! He is in uni in London too and we were actually on the same train home. I'm looking forward to being able to see him lots over summer! My dad picked me up from the station and we headed to the shop and then my Grandma's house which was lovely. I had lunch with my parents and then babysat my niece, Eve, for a little while which was fun! My mum and I then went to my sister's house where she had her wedding hair and make-up trail. She looked beautiful!
I've got lots of things I want to do this summer, so it's going to be busy but hopefully lots of fun and I'll be able to take lots of photos!
