Who me?

Checked out of the hotel after having a lovely breakfast and made our way down to my son and his fiancé. Out to lunch at a nearby pub then back to theirs to have cuddles with Frankie (the frankfurter sausage dog). He is such a cutie :)

Back home to collect Lili from my sisters - Lili had a lovely time (.... so did my sister) - before getting home and unpacking.

Our street had planned a "party in the park" with gazebos, food, drinks, kids playing and celebratory bubbles to toast the Queen's birthday. However, the English weather put pay to this (plus some neighbours couldn't make it, so numbers low), so we had an impromptu gathering around a neighbours house - scones, rocky road, lemon drizzle, pimms plus other items and a lovely catch up.

A lovely end to a great weekend.
