Cardrona Village

Today the walking group parked at the Cardrona Distillery and walked up the true left of the Cardrona River to just past the Village.  We walked over a bridge, then down the road to the Art Gallery, where we did some window shopping.  We had lunch sitting on rocks at the Hotel car park, then our adventure began.  We walked back to the cars along a horse trail, having to cross several streams on the way.  The first extra is us crossing over a stick bridge.  We then had to jump another couple of streams before we got back to the safety of the cars.  We had a nice cuppa/coffee at the Distillery Cafe, second extra.  Another wonderful day out for the local walking group.
