Lovely Light

My entry for Mono Monday (Something that makes me smile).....well really I smile lots over a period of a day.  

Went to get a blip from the garden (again late in the day), the sunlight was just catching the head of these Astrantia flowers emphasising the blooms and in turn making the background dark.  At the time this made me smile, as light is such an essential ingredient for photography......will that do?

Heavy and very white frost this morning, the day turned into a stunner though.

Committee meeting here tonight, I've made a batch of pikelets for our supper. There is jam and cream to dolly them up a bit.
