The theme for this mono Monday - kindly hosted by RedFlash, thank you so much - was described as "Anything that makes you smile..."

The jay, a regular visitor to the garden, with its blown upwards feathers on the head, makes me smile every time I see that. But it is not so easy to photograph the bird because it's very shy. It'' s not as it sees a chance to steal eggs from the nests of doves and blackbirds from trees in the garden. So we have a little love-hate relationship ... Nevertheless, makes me smile when I see it ...
