These Knees have seen the World*

The sun of Scapa Flow is dazzling us constantly.  So after cutting the grass and weeding and watering I have full permission to laze in the lee of the dyke and read Robert MacFarlane.  It’s CMC’s turn today to go and check the neighbour’s hens today.

I’m resting before tonight’s dancing.

*My knees have not seen the world but:  Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee play, the top of Ronas Hill, the top of the Red Butte in Arizona, Le Crioux near Samoens,   Aberdeen Beach Boulevard 1961 - 67, Lochnagar and inside Arkela’s Hut.
