Mild hysteria pervaded the rostrum at
Beverley after the Trendy Ladies Syndicate
with their horse Bond Bombshell trained
by David O'Meara had just won the Racing
UK in HD Handicap Stakes. With winner's
prize money of £2026. and odds of 18-1
who could not be forgiven the odd hysterical
effusion and this was before they were taken to
the Winner's suite for a champagne celebration.
