Nigella

Our little area of non-cultivated (i.e. self-seeded) Nigella or “Love In a Mist” is now in bloom. As always I am fascinated by the way this plant is constructed with the mass of tentacles that surround the flowers that (in our clump) range in colour from white to deep blue. Today’s blip is the deepest blue in our clump.
