Quack Happy

Today a chance meeting with Mrs Mallard duck had her quacking away at me and it really made me smile. Perfect for Mono Monday's challenge: something that makes you smile.

I tried to chat in my husky, croaky voice - that has decided to disappear completely again tonight - and Mrs Duck quacked back.

Feeling sorry for myself tonight with a very sore throat so it's time for a hot drink and bed.
